This site is accesskey-enabled, which means that the main site navigation links can be followed by pressing shortcut keys. At the moment it’s very simple, because most of the useful pages have yet to be transferred from the old site (or the one before that):
The routine you have to go through will depend on which browser you’re using. Using internet explorer on windows, you need to hold down the ALT key, then press the shortcut key. This will select the relevant link, but not activate it, so then press ‘enter’ go to the linked page. To get to the history page, for example, hold down ALT, press H and then press enter (with or without the alt key still held down).
If you’re using Firefox or any other mozilla-based browser, it’s slightly easier: hold down ALT and press the shortcut key. To get to the blog, just hold ALT and press B.
If you’re using Safari, Firefox or any other recent browser on a Mac, hold down CTRL and press the shortcut key.
Accesskeys don’t work in older browsers like Netscape 4 or older, or internet explorer 4.5 on a Mac.
